The Republican presidential nomination is now Mitt Romney's to lose.
After winning the GOP primaries in Michigan and Arizona Tuesday, Romney can stake his claim to a solid lead in delegates who will determine the GOP standard-bearer at the party's national convention in Tampa this summer.

Romney has 163 delegates compared to Rick Santorum's 83, Newt Gingrich's 32, and Ron Paul's 19, according to an Associated Press analysis. A candidate needs 1,144 delegates to win the nomination.
Romney tried to put the best face on his narrow 41 to 38 per cent victory over Santorum in Michigan, where Romney was born and grew up and where his father George was governor. "We didn't win by a lot but we won by enough and that's what counts," Romney told a victory rally Tuesday night.

The GOP race now moves to 10 more states on Super Tuesday, March 6, including Ohio, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Each candidate is expected to finish strong in different places, and Romney seems to lack the ability to dominate the day.
