Santorum Sees a Romney, Paul Conspiracy

February 27, 2012 RSS Feed Print

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum is charging that rivals Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are teaming up against him. An increasingly frustrated Santorum argues that Paul has attacked him in recent debates and in TV ads but has been reluctant to criticize Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts.

Campaigning in Michigan over the weekend, Santorum was asked by a voter about "what's going on with Ron Paul and Mitt Romney," prompting the former senator from Pennsylvania to reply, "It's pretty remarkable in 20 debates that Ron Paul has never attacked Mitt Romney" but Paul has regularly taken aim at Santorum. Paul, a congressman from Texas, is again criticizing Santorum with ads in Michigan, which holds a key primary tomorrow. Paul brands the former senator "a fake" and not a true conservative.

"Why is he being the wingman for Mitt Romney throughout the course of this campaign?" Santorum said.

[Opinion: No Really, Rick Santorum Can't Beat Barack Obama.]

Santorum suggested that Paul is playing tag-team with Romney so that his son, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, will be named Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Paul, asked if there is coordination between his campaign and Romney's, said "Absolutely not." Paul's advisers say Santorum is whining because his campaign is in trouble.

Yes Let's legalize Prostitution and Drugs? Libertarians are not Republicans and should run third party instead of ruining the Republican party. True Conservative Republicans know that we are our brother's keeper, and Libertarian views are actually anarchist views. They just won't realize it until it is too late.

And to Rob of NJ, no words more true.

So in these days of iniquity those overclever like the good Senator and with malice in their heart shall reap the whirlwind of their unkind lusts for power. And then we shall forgive them ;)

Hi Zadoc of Az,

"Ya git what yer hand calls fer". Newt Gingrich called Ron Paul "dangerous" and lo and behold he because dangerous to Newt Gingrich's credibility. He spoke plainly about Newt Gingrich having 1.6 million, a bit of the taxpayer's money, from his "consulting fees" from Freddie Mac. Dangerous indeed.

Rick Santorum was nice enough to call Dr. Paul "disgusting" for not rushing to murder children with our pre emptive wars. Looks like the voters are seeing how disgusting a fake conservative is like Rick Santorum and the voters are seeing what a pre emptive war lover Rick Santorum is while trying to appear Christian.

Mitt Romney is gentlemanly in his personal manor, but will surely not be chosen once the electorate comes to know the politics and life and works of Dr. Ron Paul. History presents Ron Paul as our vehicle for American renewal on all fields economic, cultural, and spiritual.

Truth and justice. Peace and Freedom in our times. ~Ron Paul 2012~
