Could Romney Stumble in South Carolina?

So, if Romney is up by 8 votes, he wins. If Santorum is up by 34 votes, it is a tie. Hmmmm.......Makes sense to me. How is it possible that the votes were lost and the election cannot be certified??? Anyone think about using computers rather than mailing in the final tallies to be certified? Where are the precinct captains and wouldn't they have the accurate data?

Seriously, there needs to be a discussion about Iowa's outsized role in the nomination process. I think they have lost all credibility and therefore should not be given such a ridiculous amount of attention in the nomination of candidates.
