Ron Paul kicking butt and taking names.. Next OBAMA.

If the republicans choose perry, Obama will win for sure. I voted Obama and I am voting Ron Paul. If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, at least I can depend on Obama winning.

some may, but the intelligent masses want real answers not political bargaining tools that make debates look like interviews for reality TV. In Ron Paul’s defense the biggest hurdle is getting the people out of the trend of being afraid of change, and embracing it for what it is; a return to a state of real freedom.

I am equally waiting to see these two face off on the debate floor. I have to admit that I definitely support Dr. Paul on this side of the elections this year. I have honestly never been inspired by any candidate like I have with Ron; his speeches for freedom literally make your hair stand on end if you are a real true American patriot. I have wanted the views he has toward liberty to be in office ever since the first day of government class. I had always wondered why we strayed so far from what this nation was designed to be to the point that it has literally sickened me. With that said I will do everything in my power to ensure that this man is represented equally and given the proper chance to show Americans what they have thrown away over so many years at the benefit to others of which they have no real affiliation. I have lived in Texas my whole life and could never find myself to help elect Perry into such a position. As doing this would only further fuel the damage that Perry is capable of. I am not attempting to slam Perry here without regard so I am holding reserve on calling out his "deals" and "agendas" that he has been involved with along the way. I will however make sure that the people are aware of these things when the timing is right. The other large objection I have with him other than these unmentionables is the enormous amount of use of religion with the intent to sway a particular group of people. This is something that I absolutely cannot tolerate from any presidential official. Any intelligent mind can easily see the way he has been creatively curving his speech approach to isolate out those particular individuals; this is something that should never be allowed in any campaign for office as more often it is used as a manipulative tool. I am religious myself, quite devotedly, however, I know that these two must remain apart from one another. If Perry wants to have a fighting chance here he would need to stop all of the edgy business and creative manipulation and actually work on how he fully intends to fix or at least get a good ball rolling on the issues we are facing today. Again though, this is just something that violates my core beliefs of this great nation of freedom and equality. I have seen some of the out of left field fan supporters for Ron, however, I am not approaching this from that direction as this is just one of those internal gut feelings to the extent that I get the same vibe from Perry as I do from the characters portrayed as the corrupt politician on television, I have always had this associative feeling and all I can relate it with is the record that he left in his wake before and after he became Texas governor. He may rely on his increase in job statistics but he does not give you specifics as to how, why? Because he set things up in a particular manner that would not be accepted by everyone so it is easier for him to rely on the numbers and just expect the people to buy it,

Even though I am strong tea party supporter, I would NOT vote for Ron Paul. Though I agree with much of what he says, he simply cannot be elected President. Both Perry and Romney could be elected, but like Paul Bachman could not be elected either. Why? First, Paul and Bachman are both US Representatives. Members of Congress, regardless of party or whether they are Representatives or Senators are all unqualified to be President. They are overtly political animals who deal with party opposition that has poisoned their rationality. When given the opportunity they act like Kings not elected representatives (for example, Obama, Johnson). Neither is a negotiator that truly wants to get something done as Governors must be, neither have the interests of the entire country at heart, and neither are flexible enough to give and take to get it done. That is why we have what we have now, namely Democrats proclaiming what we out to believe, then enacting legislation to make us do as they want (ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, fluorescent lights, etc.) not what we sent them there to do-represent us the people. Reagan, Clinton, and even Carter were infinitely better Presidents than Obama and not un-coincidentally were Governors beforehand. The last Representative natively elected to the White House was Truman; his election was only because the death of FDR put him in line and there wasn't any better choice after all those years of FDR.

Very fair article. I can't wait until Ron Paul and Rick Perry tangle in the debates. Ron is the intellectual superior of all the candidates.

I like Ron Paul, and will vote for him. I liked him four years ago. He's a man that will stick to his conservative principles, and would be a great President.
