The responsibility of a political leaders and business executives as well as corporate CEO is not in personality, sweet-talk and euphemisn but in thoughtful thinking and concrete action. Mr. Booker stood for what he believed in and did something about it. He was not only doing it to please the community and voters, instead he was doing what he was elected to do, and to help improve the education needs for our kids. Mayor Booker, says what he mean and mean what he says--that is the kind of leadership we need right now in America; whether in the White House or in the Governor office.

America is standing at a bifurcated road and must choose the right path toward the twenty-first century objective or risk being left behind. Greedness and political corruption must be put in check because we all just waitness what both can do to our society. In fact, I do talk about greed in my book--GREEDY SPIDER, which can be view at www.xlibris.com/GreedySpider.html

Change is not an overnight occurence especially in a city that has been "down and out" since the 70's. With that being said the accomplishments of Cory Booker are astonshing in the short time he has been mayor.

I feel his dream is special but the people in his city have other dreams of destruction. I fail to see the drop in crime being the court are backed up by two years. newark police continues to be the joke of the state. newark pd work casual hours and pass the buck on a daily bases. the attraction areas are well kept while the rest live in poverty and crime. i admire his commitment while laugh at his hope to change a city that welcomes and raises criminals.
