What a refreshingly nuanced and thoughtful treatment of leadership. I was so pleasantly surprised to see how your panel defined and measured leadership. You had an appropriately strong focus on the collaborative and inspirational aspects of sustainable leadership. This is such a refreshing change from the commonly shallow and bullying definitions that seem to predominate in Canadian and US media.

Anyone who can keep a bunch of scientists working together and bring in results early and under budget needs to be on your list. Further he has worked tirelessly to educate physicians, and the public on the uses of the information gained, the affects on medicine, and where to go from here.
