There are people who are in power positions who are working against this country's best interest. If there are any men with backbone in DC, they will stop this before they cannot.

Eric Holder needs to be fire and tried for treason and any others who is making policy in this country contrary to the Constitution of this land.

Defense Secretary Gates is one of the few professionals in this or the previous administration. I much admire the man and his speak quietly and carry a big stick approach. The US needs more honorable people like Mr Gates in senior positions.

there is a lot of glute kissing going on in Robert Gates office. "Soft power" must be synonymous with soft spine! I am thankful no one in my family is military because that would me their country expects them to protect our interests but doesn't care to protect and support their environment and best interests. Don't they have enough to do in this wild war-filled world without having to battle internal politics as well?

THIS IS POLITICAL CORRECTNES GONE CRAZY AGAIN JUST LIKE THE TWO BORDER PATROL OFFICERS DOING THIER JOB. GIVE THE 3 SEALS A METAL AND LET THEM GO. WHY SHOULD A PERSON ENLIST TO FIGHT FOR THIER COUNTRY WHEN SOMETHING NUTS LIKE THIS HAPPENS. WE NEED A CLEAN OUT IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND I THINK IS COMING THIS YEAR.

Dear Secretary Gates,

I'm the parent of three adult kids - non of them are military people. But I have stong and deep respect for all who serve in our military, and their families.

I was grateful when you stayed on to serve in this administration. I'm grateful now for your courage to help enable all who wish to serve our country. I hope it won't take a year. We need all good Americans who wish to serve now.

Thank you for your service and your example of decency.

Mr. Gates:

Why not enforce the current law? You have listened to your boss, the poorest excuse for a commander in chief of the US Armed Forces in our 200+years. If the White House cannot get the Congress to agree and change the law you simply listen to Barry Obama who says we will simply not enforce the current, existing law. If you had any honor, you would resign rather than carry out the whims of this corrupt administration. You cannot possibly agree with this community organizer on this issue. Aside from you and very few others, he has surrounded himself with the most incompetent staff that could possibly be mustered.

My question is an often thought of one, so here goes.

When and why were time limits decided upon for servicemen serving overseas?

During WWII, the men went to whereever they were assigned and didn't come home till the job was done.

For some reason, I believe, it seemed to start during the Korean Conflict, where a servicemember did so many months and came home.

Please clarify this mater for me, so that I can inform others of the correct answer.

From here on, when you're walking in the presence of Obama, please get that little-boy squeamish, and suck-up look off your face......you're embarrasing us! Maybe you could contact Colin Powell, for'coaching' assistance.

C'mon now, you're a Big Boy", and you are in charge of all those airplanes! Now, doesn't that make you feel like you really are a man? Remember now, try to look relatively stern, and try not to look like you want Daddy to say..."you're doing a real good job, Bobby.....keep up the good work!"
