The 10 Cities with the Most Same-Sex Partnerships

In November, the Census Bureau will for the first time release official decennial census counts of the nation's same-sex households. But data currently available from the annual American Community Survey provides some insight to where America's major gay population centers are. These are the 10 metropolitan areas (population 200,000 or greater) with the highest proportion of households with same-sex unmarried partners, according to data from the Census Bureau’s 2005-2009 American Community Survey.
