"The hard part of getting a bipartisan solution on the budget is that it goes to the core values of the two parties," King says. "Right now the core values of the Republicans are no new taxes and the core value of the Democrats is no cuts to entitlements and practically everybody around here knows that in order to solve this budget problem there is going to have to be give on both of those sides and yet neither side will do it."
