A phenomenon known as the Sturgeon moon, or blue moon, occurred Tuesday evening to the delight of skygazers from Lisbon, Portugal, to Vancouver, British Columbia. It marked the third full moon of four this summer, and was also the second full moon in a month (what's typically referred to as a "blue moon"). Greece, along with other countries, will celebrate the August full moon Wednesday at museums and other historic sites.
