"If put my foot up your f-cking ass, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much," Baldwin tweeted with obvious typos and profanity, referring to the Daily Mail reporter behind the article. "I'm gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna f-ck…you…up."
In his multi-tweet rant, Baldwin also called the reporter a "lying little b-tch" and urged his followers to "straighten out this f-cking little b-tch." The tweets have since been deleted and Baldwin's account (@ABFalecbaldwin) has been deactivated.
According to the Daily Mail, his wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin, who is pregnant with their first child, posted tweets about smoothie recipes and wedding anniversary presents throughout the morning service. She also addressed the article on Twitter.
"FYI I don't believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would, " she tweeted. "Here is some info... When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted."
She suggested that the reporter misread the time stamps on her tweets due to time zone difference (The Baldwins were in New York, Stark, allegedly on the West Coast).
Though there's reason to believe the Daily Mail report is inaccurate, Baldwin's Twitter tantrum exacerbated his reputation for having a short temper. In 2011, Baldwin was kicked off an airplane when he refused to shut down his phone because he was playing Words With Friends.
He was also photographed getting into a physical confrontation with a New York Daily News reporter earlier this year and reportedly called his daughter Ireland a "rude thoughtless pig" on a voice mail message in 2007.
