Fight Over Fracking Continues as Counties Begin to Ban Practice

"For decades, states have been successfully regulating fracturing," House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Doc Hastings, R-Wash., said in a release announcing a hearing schedule next week to examine the proposed rule. "This 'one size fits all' regulatory structure being pursued by the Obama Administration is a waste of time and energy."
