As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama vowed to recognize the Armenian massacre as a "genocide" (The U.S. ambassador to Aremenia was allegedly fired by the Bush administration for using the term) if elected president. However the Armenian National Committee of America slammed Obama for neglecting to use the term in his 2012 statement on the "Armenian Remembrance Day." Mitt Romney has been invited by the Armenian National Committee to elaborate his stance, along with other issues affecting the Armenian-American community.

Sweatshops

Obama supporters have criticized Bain Capital, the private equity firm founded by Romney, for its business practices, including the outsourcing of jobs to China. The Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights also accused the Kardashian clan of using Chinese factories to make some of their products, where laborers work 84-hour weeks, making $1 per hour in inhumane conditions.

Personal Ties

Donald Trump is not the only person in Kim's circle talking politics. In a newly released song, Kim's beau Kanye West raps, "I'm just trying to protect my stacks/ Mitt Romney don't pay no tax, Mitt Romney don't pay no tax." Obama once called Kanye West a "jackass," though he admires West's music. However West's Watch The Throne partner, Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce Knowles, are both Obama supporters, hosting a fundraiser and recording a campaign video for the president. Whether they have any influence over Kardashian is unclear--Beyonce may or may not have snubbed Kardashian at a recent concert.

There is still room for the 2012 candidates to win Kim's vote--Romney could capitalize on the supposed Kim-Beyonce beef and Obama could soften his anti-Kanye rhetoric. Once Kardashian does choose a candidate, let's hope she leaves the singing about the 2012 race to the the professionals.
