This summer, teens might be doing more lying around and less jobseeking than they once did.
For American teens as a whole, this summer isn't looking to be much of an improvement over last summer. Khatiwada and his colleagues at CLMS predict that just over one-quarter of teens (a seasonally adjusted 26.8 percent) will have jobs this summer—a slight rise from last summer's rate of 25.7 percent.
