It is interesting that most USAID aid funds HIV/AID and malaria prevention and and only 3% of child deaths are caused by the former. The diseases mentioned in the article are neglected.

However, Rotary District 5650 is addressing the problem by funding boreholes for clean water, gardens and health and nutrition education in rural Zambia.
