Eating more meat! what a mistake. Even this article tells you how the land is being raped to feed second-hand food. Go Vegan - for a healthier population, the future of the planet and justice for the powerless and voiceless animals we torture and kill.

Emanuele...there are no longer any ethanol subsidies. I repeat... there are NO ethanol subsidies in place at this time. the blenders credit along with tariffs on imported ethanol expired jan. 1. the only thing in place is the ethanol mandate that reqires a certain percentage of US fuel to be blended with ethanol. this is in place as an oxygenate to help with the clean air act. (in place of the dangerously carcinogenic MBTE made from petroleum). Further, the national average wholesale price of ethanol is about $2.25 per gallon. what is the price of unleaded in your area.

Eventually the Federal Government will realize how bad an idea it was to make ethanol from corn and eliminate the subsidies so that it will be more profitable to grow corn for feedstock again.

Your comments about Jesus are ignorant of the facts. The New Testament records that Jesus did eat the Passover feast, which would include the eating of the roasted lamb (Luke 22:14-15). In fact, before the last Passover meal, Jesus specifically instructs his disciples to prepare the meal, including the lamb, for their observance. Not only did Jesus eat lamb, but he also ate fish. "But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, 'Have you any food here?' So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence" (Luke 24:41-43). He served it for the 4,000 in Matthew 15:34-37. Jesus also promoted the catching of fish for the purpose of consuming them. (John 21:5-6, 9-14) He was even accused of gluttony (Matt 11:19) so apparently he enjoyed his food! Don't allow political ignorance to dictate what the truth should be! Sorry to disappoint the radical vegans and PETA folk, but animals were given to us for food. (Gen 9:3)

It is as though peaceful prophets like Jesus and Gandhi had been telling us this news for years but man, being driven by ego, greed, gluttony and the desire to kill to justify / elevate his existence, ignored all the warning signs.
'Meat is murder' is working out to be 'meat will kill you.
Karma is a beautiful thing.
