According to multiple sources, Apple will unveil the next edition of its iPad tablet next Wednesday, March 7, at an event in San Francisco.
Longtime Apple reporter Jim Dalrymple writes on his blog, The Loop, that the event will be held at 10 a.m. PST at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Earlier Tuesday, CNBC reported that Apple would unveil the iPad 3 March 7 in New York City. Dalrymple has reported on Apple products for 17 years, formerly holding top posts at Macworld and MacCentral.
The invitation reads "We have something you really have to see. And touch.," according to photos being circulated.
According to the CNBC report and wide industry speculation, the iPad 3 is expected to have a "quad-core" processor and a high-definition Retina Display, made famous on the iPhone.
