Dennis, our government is giving these people no incentive to do other than what they do now. I wonder how many took full advantage of the free education provided to earn a High School Diploma. I often wonder it the provision of free education is what stated this whole mess. Something that is free loses its value over time. For example: If parents had to pay for thier children to attend school; I am certain they make sure thier child were attending, behave while at school and do all required to be successful.

I am starting to wonder why I worked two jobs in order to attend (and graduate from) college. Geez, if I had just curled up in a ball and made no effort, I could have gotten free housing, free food, free healthcare AND a free cell phone....soon I would be getting free broadband.......

Sounds like a good worthwhile program. If there is fraud, it needs to be cleaned up. But the Pubs will want to eliminate the program completely.

It's what they always do. Find something wrong with a program and instead of fixing it they fight to crush it. It's been that way for the Pubs since Ronnie(who will go down in history as one of the WORST presidents ever). He started the whole right-wing anti-government BS.

I hope he's burning in Hades.

I can't afford a cellphone, it's too expensive, and I would rather spend that much money on something else, like going out with my husband to dinner and a movie. We have a landline, it is find for our needs.

I am appalled that the government is providing cell service to anyone. They can provide a landline. So, I go to the grocery store, and someone pays in food stamps while talking on their iPhone and then goes out to their late model car with wheels that cost more than my car does.

Too many people who don't need help are stealing it from those of us who are honest and careful with our money!

Screw them. I have to pay for my cell phone and broadband. I don't have TV because I can't afford it. Let them eat cake!
