Isn't ice suppose to melt???? The fallacy with all the so called experts is that there may be a period of melting for a while....then all of a sudden there will be a period of very high accumulation of ice, thus striking a balance.

If you were a (competent) scientist, you wouldn't comment about science outside of your field. If you were a climatologist, you would have said so

I know this might seem to be a crude experiment, but here's what I think we need: Several publicly accessible measuring posts that truly measure the reported rise in ocean levels (not tides, but sustained levels) so we can observe, monitor, experience and visualize the 'sea-level rise' that seems to be invisible to the naked eye for those of us who live near the oceans. We don't need a computer model or the 'latest tricks' to see what is happening, do we? There's not been a single credible report of lighthouses being inundated yet...

I didn't know thought was melting! Is there too much CO2 in our brains? We should stop breathing so much.

Maybe it's a good thing people are questioning the "science" of global warming. How many other things are we being lied to about? The earth has been heating up and cooling down since the beginning.
I personally think it has more to do with the sun than with human activity.

I hope you checked with Al Gore on this because Al knows best, which happens to be the name of my new situation comedy starring Al Gore.

Huh. Looks like some anti-free speech prick didn't like my comment. Wasn't "spam" or "profanity" so I guess it's just censorship. I'll take some satisfaction in knowing I won that argument.

"Even with an eight-year estimate, it's not clear how far into the future you can project," he says. "A lot of people want to predict into the end of the century, but I think it's too dangerous to do that … We don't have enough info to know what'll happen. There's some ebb and flow to these things."
This guy's tenure in climate science is over.....we don't have enough info....sounds like honesty to me!

In only 25,000 years my home would be at sea level unless we run out of melting ice or slide into another ice age. I can hardly wait!

Where is Al Gore? Anyone seen him talking melting ice caps ?
