the scientists have discovered that there are many lakes lying under antarctica that must have been frozen for over 100 million or more years but have been thawing out due to openings developing on the continent,on account of alot of loss of ice,on account of the warming of the atmosphere.openings allowing the outside warm air to enter through these openings and radiate throughout the interior of the continent causing the lakes to thaw out and im not ruling out the possibility of creatures still existing in these lakes, that may have been in a hypothermic state since antarctica got covered over by ice and the lakes freezing solid in which case the creatures may have snappedout of their hypothermic states as the lakes started thawing out and started swimming againpossibly.they could have been in a state of hypothermia or hybernationon account of the coldness around themand now they could have snapped out of it since the interior has gotten warmer allowing for the lakes to thaw out.so maybe these prehistoric aquatic creatures are still swimming around, possibly.someday mankind may explore the interior of the continent and come to these lakes and have quite a surprise ,possibly seeing creatures of long ago swiming through the lakes.

Great Ail-Russian Motor Rally “I want to see myself what happened to my country” started on April 25, 2012
We are participants of the Russian warning system organized a motor rally along the whole Russia to hit the falsehood, that we’ve been stuffed with by the official mass media and see with our own eyes the life in our country as it is and tell people what is really going on, indeed. We want to see with our own eyes, how people live, who lives well and who doesn’t.
Kamchatka and Khabarovsk, St. Petersburg and Chelyabinsk, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg… For now, 55 Russian cities announced their desire to participate in motor race. Cars will move along 27 directions toward Moscow. On May 5 all participants will meet in Moscow and drive along the Garden Ring, and after it gather together on the rally. Travel Notes and reportages of the motor rally participants will be published in this group, on the web site raznesi.info and you can also follow us on twitter https://twitter.com/#!/MotorRally
People will tell what is interesting in their city and we will share it with a world. We will come, and show and tell! We invite all not indifferent to the situation in the country people to join our journey, and tell everyone how Russia lives in reality. The motor rally started on April 25 from the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city.
All participants are to wear white T-shirt with s sticker “I want to see myself what happened to my motherland”.
Participation of the journalists and bloggers is very welcome. Take pictures, make reportages from the places

Alien indeed! Too bad the citizens of the world will never know what they really find there (or anywhere else in Antarctica for that matter).

Not sure how FOX got involved with this because the info I had shows the Daily Mail reported the lost contact, see this link
The article never explained why Fox claimed the scientists were lost. You spend most of the rehashing the mission but none to explain whether or not contact was lost.

132,000 microbe genus and species, the TAXA of earth's timely history, and in this lake, perhaps thousands more, but not composted like those that have been uncovered beneath the earth, without air, without energy, this will be cosmicly different. Hopefully, the lack of light will have produced highly efficient and weak species.

I suppose "caution" is not the word to use. Perhaps something like "Andromeda Strain" might be a better choice. Imagine if you went to another planet with water teaming with life. The forms of bacteria could be the most benign in the universe or have transcended our simple ones to a most toxic state. This is a very harsh petri dish where there is the potential for exciting and life ending exploration, on a global scale. They really need someone with greater wisdom to guide them.
