People should be using their welfare money correctly. You're getting government help to get help yourself... not to go off and get a boner or gamble it away and hope you'll make 1 million overnight. We, the ones who work hard and pays taxes, so that someone else can go spend it for their pleasure.

i think instead we should raise taxes on alcohol so as to make it more difficult to puchase and have those taxes only go to victims and their families of alcohol abuse, such as drunk driving, and it should pay for any jail services so the rest of us don't have to pay for it
those with money shouldn't complain of the higher cost simply because they would actually be paying for a form of insurance if they be the ones who cause tragedy to another ----- court costs, hospital bills, etc. .

That's the problem, too many "rights" --- I have a right to receive my welfare check and spend it on whatever the h*ll I please. The 21st century view should be the same as the 19th century view: you have the complete right to do whatever you will with the $0 that we give you. However, if we give you so much as $1, then, you spend it by our rules. Don't like it? You're welcome to accept $0. Put another way, Socialism (or Progressivism, or non-classical Liberalism), like Marxism and Communism, is one of many failures produced by the 20th century.

Geez, po' people need fun too! Looks like another regulation being enforced upon Casinos, etc. Thought the Pubs were against that?

If welfare and food stamp recipients want to piss their monthly allotment on strippers, let them STARVE!!! They only get so much a month. There has to be a way to encode those cards so they can't be used in ATM's. They don't work in ATM's here in NE.
