I know that this is going to upset most people but this is only my opinion so you can stop reading at any time...I think the the police had reasonable cause to put the tracking device on the vehicle and the proof of his drug involvement should not be thrown out of court because of the GPS, after all what if we had enough money to pay for a police officer to follow this guy 24/7...then it would have been ok? Let's not be stupid, the laws are there to protect us from criminals...not the other way around. Facts are Facts and how those Facts are discovered does not change the Facts. Let's let a killer go free because of ignorance? Oh, that's right we did...OJ.

With all the GPS devices in new cars and the spread of traffic monitoring cameras, won't it be just a matter of time before all active vehicles will be visible dots over the master map at urban traffic monitoring offices? Privacy rights are on the verge of extinction despite this decision.
