American Sentenced to Death in Iran for Working with CIA

Former U.S. Marine, Amir Mirzaei Hekmati, has 20 days to appeal death sentence

U.S. citizen Amir Mirzaei Hekmati, accused by Iran of spying for the CIA, sits in Tehran's revolutionary court, in Iran. An Iranian court has convicted Hekmati and sentenced him to death.

At the time, he was working in Qatar as a contractor for a company "that served the Marines," his father said, without providing more specific details.

Probably would have been an easier case to prove that he WASN'T involved if he had a good old American name like Smith or Johnson. Anyone with an Arab Name who is a U.S Marine will stand out like a sore thumb.
