GOP PROPHETS AND MESSIANIC CANDIDATES AT LAST

Rich Perry quotes Isaiah implying he is a Prophet God Himself is sending to save America. Ron Paul, in his campaign ad., calls himself “the one you have been waiting for.” Strange that the same Republican Party that attacked Obama in 2008 (the McCain campaign) implying that Obama sees himself as “The One” (even when Obama never said he was) are saying nothing this time when Republican presidential candidates are, in fact, claiming they are prophets and messiahs. In 2008, McCain ran ads depicting Obama as Moses. It is a strange, strange world. Indeed! You see, Republicans say and make rule for others—they lay a burden to others—but blatantly behave differently, as if they are above the law or rules or what they accuse others of doing, just like the old Publicans in the time of Christ! Christ openly accused them of hypocrisy. As in the time of Christ, they also shout the most about God and their assumed holiness, but they are hypocrites of the highest order. They talk about limited government and abolishing many government departments; but claim many government subsidies and milk government for all it is worth through government contracts and a host other means. They interfere with women in their personal lives and try at every opportunity to intrude in the bedrooms of the nations. They shout patriotism (as if they have more rights than any one else), but always manage to avoid serving their country in the military—“patriots” like Dick Cheney, Newt Gingrich, George W. Bush, and the whole lot of them. They shout holiness, but many of them live very immoral lives, including some in Congress that visit prostitutes and engage in marital infidelity.
