Has the other side completely be evaluated? Current reduced payments into the SS system (already owed a $2.7 Trillion IOU), amounts to borrowing against already borrowed money, & there will be interest. Also, persons nearing retirement, & those in the future, by paying less in, will have reduced SS benifits.

Maybe its just me, but it seems to me that the wealthiest in our country take the American jobs to China, Pakistan, India etc, in order to make bigger profits for themseves! Don't they realise that no matter how cheap the product is, we need to earn money in order to buy it! I say just make them pay a 20% tax to bring this crap into America and make it illegal to pass it on to the consumer. I believe we might then see a few more American jobs showing up on the market. We might also see more made in the USA merchandise for purchase.

Well if the wealthy are our job providers, they aren't doing a good job of providing. Maybe its time to fire this batch of incompetent job providers, and find some new ones.

If I don't know anything else, I know that, if the 3.1% payroll tax cut advanced by the Obama administration is not passed, I will find a way to cut my personal spending by the amount necessary so that I create the tax cut for myself. There was never much of a future in spending money. Now the ONLY future is in saving it.
