What's unfortunate is that the U.S. does not appear to be ready to take direct action ourselves. Our capabilities far exceed those of Israel and are much more likely to succeed in stopping the Iranian nuclear program.

BRENT CRUDE AT $200 IF ISRAEL ATTACKS IRAN
Brent crude is likely to rise to over US$200 a barrel if, or when, Israel attacks Iran, and world commodities will increase proportionately.
Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, is now convinced that the American Israel lobby has sufficient influence over congress to be assured that the US will be reluctantly obliged to join in to what will be a catastrophe for the Middle East and beyond. There is one probability that cannot be ruled out and that is an escalation that will oblige Israel to deploy her nuclear arsenal in defense of her cities.
Once that occurs, the whole of the region and Europe could be engulfed in a nuclear conflict that would cause untold thousands of deaths of Iranians, Israelis, Americans and Europeans.
If Israel is so unwise as to attack Iran in defiance of the UN, Russia, China, Germany and NATO then it will have to bear what will likely be the terrible consequences. There is only one way to avoid this devastating conflict and that is negotiation, plus a UNSC resolution to designate the entire Middle East that includes both IRAN and ISRAEL, a NUCLEAR WEAPONS FREE ZONE.
The United Nations Security Council needs to act.

The USS Liberty? Really? In 1988, the USS Vincennes, the most electronically advanced warship in our fleet, in a non-wartime environment, intentionally/unintentionally shot down a Iranian civilian aircraft, fl. 655, one fully equipped with functioning civilian IFF electronics, causing the loss of over 200 lives.
We all know that was an accident, a miscalculation.
But you still think that twenty years earlier, in the middle of a shooting war, including naval action, without the benefit modern highspeed digital communications, that Israeli aircraft firing on an off-shore vessel that later turned out to be an American spy ship was a deliberate attack on the US? Couldn't be a mistake of course, because those damn Jews in capable of making amistake while at the same time they are the incarnation of evil.

American politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties should leave Iran alone and instead stand up for the Americans who were murdered on the USS Liberty.
It is disgusting that they act as Israel-Firsters swearing allegiance to the Israeli flag, and forget the 34 Americans murdered on the USS Liberty by Israel with hundreds more injured .
Remember the USS Liberty and google the official web site of the survivors yourself to see how young Americans were murdered by Israel and to see what you can do this Veterans Day to honour their memories,
Additionally, feel free to link the official website of survivors of the USS Liberty to your own Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other such page in order to raise awareness of how Israel murdered innocent unarmed Americans on the USS Liberty!
Veterans, it’s time to see justice done in a way that puts America, and not Israel-Firster's "PRECIOUS Israel" (said like Golem in the Lord of the Rings) FIRST, as Veterans Day approaches!!!!
What else can you:
- Demand a Congressional investigation and taking the testimony of survivors under oath (which has not been done to date unlike any other attack where Aericans were killed by a foreign nation)
- Lobby for a bridge, park, street, building to be named after the USS Liberty
- Have a monument erected in your City
Link the official site of the USS Liberty to your Facebook page and question the political candidates as to whether or not they will support a monument being erected or a street or park or bridge being named the USS Liberty Bridege et al to honour the memories of survivors and the dead of the USS Liberty.
