Rick Perry Would Back Israel Strike on Iran Nuke Sites

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry said on Thursday that as president he would support an Israeli air strike on Iran if there is proof Tehran is moving closer to having a nuclear weapon.

"Obviously, we are going to support Israel. And I've said that we will support Israel in every way that we can, whether it's diplomatic, whether it's economic sanctions, whether it's overt or covert operations, up to and including military action," the Texas governor said in an interview on CNN.

"We cannot afford to allow that madman in Iran to get his hands on a nuclear weapon period," Perry added.

A U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency report due next week is expected to unveil new details about the military side of Iran's nuclear program, while stopping short of explicitly saying Tehran is trying to build such weapons. Iran insists its program is for generating electricity.

Perry's campaign has been slipping after swiftly rising to the top of opinion polls when he entered the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination in August.

In a wide-ranging interview with CNN, Perry defended his moderate stance on illegal immigration, including an in-state tuition program.

"I put that in the category of being very wise economically. I mean, when you judge are you going to have taxpayers or tax wasters, and that's how Texans looked at it," Perry said.

Illegal immigration is a hot-button issue in the Republican party, and wavering from staunch opposition can lessen chances of success in the fight to become the nominee, as conservative party members play an outsized role in the nomination process.

Perry, who was campaigning in Johnston, Iowa, downplayed his slide in the polls, suggesting that he was not paying a lot of attention to the numbers.

"I know how to run an election, I know how to take the message to the people and that's what we going to keep doing," Perry said. "So, we will stay focused, we will stay on message, and the end of the day, it will all turn out just right."

I think you should be running instead of Perry. I would vote for you. Haven't we had enough of war? Haven't we had enough of constant saber rattleing? We never used to act this way, and we have so many war mongers standing in line.

Rick Perry should stand up for the Americans who were murdered on the USS Liberty instead of acting like an Israel-Firster swearing allegiance to the Israeli flag at every moment like the typical AIPAC Al politicians who have sold out the USA into the USI (United States of Israel)!

It sickens me that the survivors of the USS Liberty and their dead comrades have been so dishonoured that politicians like Rick Perry say diddly squate about them but constantly bleat about how America must stand up for Israel.

It is time for Americans to demand at both local, state, and national levels like Republican and Democratic Party debates whether these Israel-Firster politicians will support a Congressional Inquiry which will take the testimony of survivors of Israel’s murderous attack on the USS Liberty under oath as this is still the only incident where American personnel were attacked by a foreign power, namely Israel, and where the survivors have been treated despicably:

I also encourage Americans but especially veterans to demand that their representatives in Congress initiate such an inquiry and, at the same time, seek to have a monument erected, or a park, bridge or street named after the USS Liberty in your own communities/city in order to honor the memories of your unarmed brothers in arms (which have been dishonoured by the sell-out AIPAC Israel-First politicians from both the Republican and Democratic parties who have yet to hear under oath, the testimopnies of eye-witnessed to Israel's murderous attack on the USS Liberty).

There are tens of millions of Americans who are homeless or are facing foreclosures or who have lost their jobs, there are tens of millions of American children living on food stamps, there are tens of thousands of schools, highways, brdges et al that need to be repaired in the US, and Israel-Firsters keep on demanding that WE, The American Taxpayer, continue to pay this parasitic leeching welfare state while needy Americans are desperate?.

These AIPAC Als like Perry are ready to sell out the USA for their "PRECIOUS" Israel (said like Golem in the Lord of The Rings)!!!!

Like politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties who have simply become slaves of the American Israel Public Affairs Committtee (AIPAC), Perry's tongue is slavishly buried so far up where the sun doesn't shine in the backside of AIPAC that he won't say squat about why Israel (who Israel-Firsters constantly claim is so economically great and advanced and such a success and blah blah blah....), continues to feed off the trough of America like some sort of leech for fifty plus years to a cost amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars ($5 billion plus per year), and still counting!!!.

After all, if Israel is as successful as Israel-Firsters claim that it is, then it is is only reasonable to expect that it will be able to stand on its own instead of coming cap in hand like a street corner hobo demanding never-ending charity from Americans without any end in sight. After all, countries of comparable size to Israel like Sweden and Norway are all making it on their own without needing or asking for American aid.

Logically, the tax dollars of hard-working Americans should be reserved for truly needy Americans or perhaps third world countries like Ethiopia, Angola, and so on and not a so-called successful nation like Israel is (as Israel-Firsters constantly claim Israel is!!!!).

Ohhhh well, I guess Israel-Fisrters from AIPAC have so well corrupted America's body politic that Americans have only started to notice how Israel-Firster politicians like Perry betrays America and our values and that his actual allegiance is to Israel and not to America.

Americans should demand that Israel-Firster politicians like Perry and other American politicians initiate an effort to get on the record the actual testimony of eyewitnesses and survivors to Israel's murderous attack on the USS Liberty where Israel murdered 34 unarmed young American sailors and injured hundreds more in international waters (including strafing survivors in life rafts), as the official web site of the survivors shows, and which you can google for yourself:

For forty plus years, the USS Liberty incident has remained the only imilitary attack where USS military personnel were attacked by a foreign power, namely, Israel, and where the testimony under oath of the survivors/victims has never been taken by Congress, and where there have been efforts made to whitewash and attack even survivors of Israel's evil!!!
