This event certainly proves that Herman Cain is no politician. They have to have whole staffs for scandal spin.
I will cut him some slack here, until all the facts are out, including details of the actual complaint and testimonies, how it was determined to be baseless, and what kind of settlement took place.
I do have a comment for US News editorial staff as well:
I hardly think someone like Lanny Davis should be used as an analyst of a Republican candidate. Isn't he just part of the revolving door political hack teams that infiltrate journalism?
I mean, guys like Davis and the old standby David Gergen, are wheeled out on dollies to spout their expert points of view, when in reality they are trying to shape the discussion to fit their party affiliation.
This has become a big problem from my point of view as a reader of the news to have to sift through where these people came from in order to understand their rhetoric. It dilutes the reporting into just the existing political framework. It does not fully inform. We readers are left to grading people for their political acumen vs. their actual ability.

Is "Bungle" The New Word For Lie
If Herman Cain did not do what he was acused of, he should just say so. It's not difficult....."Yes, I did", or "No, I did not!"
All that Herman Cain has proven is that he is more than willing to talk out of both sides of his mouth, hoping that one of his lies will actually stick. Wait a minute but isn't that what Mitt Romney is so good at doing.
Come on people.....Wake up! Herman Cain is a joke that the media pumped up to fail. The 9-9-9 Plan is a joke, his foreign policy knowledge is non-existent, and he worked for the Federal Reserve and thinks that the Fed does not need to be audited, and "can be fixed". Sorry Herman but you are either extremely ignorant, or you are a shill for the Fed. I personally believe that he is just a puppet for the Federal reserve. Either way, Herman Cain does not have the character or principle to be president.

So Herman Cain will get smeared no matter what...
The media outlets who are covering this story are disgusting on so many levels... it is all about the smear at the end of the day.
And the idea that they would site men who were actually guilty of the accusations held against them and situations that were actually devasting and even mishandled for months on end as being better examples is beyond disgusting.
Politics is a blood sport and the blood-thirsty have come out to drink. This doesn't implicate anyone other than themselves.
