Why Romney Could Still Win in the Conservative South

Romney is a big government RINO, who maintains that "Romney Care" was right for Massachusetts even as it bankrupts the state. This is the kind of profound stupidity that has dug us into our present financial crisis.

The south will take Herman Cain's conservatism over Romney's liberalism any day of the week.

Has any Presidential Candidate ever presented to the American people a more comprehensive economic plan as Mitt Romney has just done? His plan outlines exactly what he will do when given the opportunity to be our President. He did it a year and a half ahead not two and 1/2 years after.

His 160 page book will resonate with the South and the Tea Party people. It will become the floor plan of the future. It's right on target. It's positive, America First, and explains the action and then the expected results of that action. It's easy to read and has plenty of charts.

After his speech last night in SC, he now has shown he does have a plan. A solid one and this book gives every American the plan free. Mr. Perry for all his talk about jobs has milked his conservative State's legislature to take credit for their conservative values.

Mitt nailed it today.

As far as I can see, with his forced healthcare and some other things Romney will just be a white Obama.

I am Mormon.... I would like to say that I think Mitt Romney is a good man. He should be voted for or against because of his political views, policies, and record. Whether he gets elected or not, should not have anything to do with his religion. Now, for the record....As Mormons...We believe in God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost. Our Scriptures of study and instruction are The King James version of The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. We believe in being Honest, Virtuous,

and in doing good to all people. We find our greatest Joys in Families as we strive to live the Lord's commandments together. We reach out to others to share the Christian Message of Jesus Christ and His perfect Atonement. We not only preach it in Church, but we are committed to inviting all people from every corner of the Earth To Come Until Christ and follow Him through our Missionary efforts. We follow the teachings of living Apostles and Prophets of God...today, who direct the affairs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout the World. We serve other people when disaster strikes here or abroad. There is nothing weird about The LDS Church or people...Our Temples are The House of The Lord where Families are able to be sealed together for All Time and Eternity. The cermonies are sacred, not secret. The Lord said that man's ways are not His ways. In The Church we don't dictate the Method of Worship to God...We receive His Word and worship as He requires. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does not allow public opinion or even Church membership direct the Doctrine. The Lord is The Head of The Church. The Church also does not promote any political candidate or agenda. We are encouraged as members to participate in the political process and vote for those candidates that best represent our Moral values and The Family Unit. When crisis or disaster happens...The Mormon people are organized by Church Officials and respond with care, concern, and helping hands to minister to all of Gods children...The Good, Bad, or Indifferent....We are commander to love all people. The Church provides food, clothing, shelter, and medical supplies to people all over the world on a continuous basis and during times of disaster even more. So please....don't be misinformed about the Mormons...We are Christians and we want to rebuild our Nation with you our good neighbors....I am not a Church Official and I do not represent the Church, but I am a Mormon.

Ironic, but Romney has the best chance of beating Obama, but he'll never make it with the extreme right of his own party. Instead, they'll choose another Texan with big business ties who panders to the extreme Christian fundamentalists. It worked for Bush, but I seriously doubt it will fly with independents and democrats this time around.

It will be extremely difficult for Romney to win, not only the Republican primary, but also the presidential election. Both the right and left have a difficult time with Romney's Mormon weirdness, its strange secret rituals, and its inherent flip flopping. Books like The Mormon Madness by Latayne C. Scott, and Social Code by Cass Tell (a parody on Mormonism) will haunt Romney and other Mormon candidates.

It is highly doubtable that Rick Perry's rise has anything to do with his style... he is a three-term governor who governs more like a conservative, while Mitt Romney was a two-term governor who governed like a democrat. The reason why they are front runners is because they are the two longest serving governors in the race.

The reason why Romney has a good chance of losing most anywhere in the Republican primary is because he cannot undo many things in his record that seem unpalatable to primary voters.
