No Deal! Economic collapse and worldwide depression - McConnell and Republicans would be celebrating
DEAL! American economy survives 'Another Day' until the GOP throws another temper tantrum
NO DEAL! The Republican Party will lose big in 2012 on every level when voters take out their wrath on the creeps who killed the economy
BTW Ryan's budget would kill Medicare and Medicaid, so charities better be ready to step up to help the massive number of new homelessness.
Ryan's budget is also Anti-Christian considering Paul Ryan worships Ayn Rand, an extreme atheist who hated all religions and whose philosophy is diametrically opposed to the teaching of Jesus.
Buried in Ryan's budget are fine print that make the Bush Tax Cuts of the Wealthy permanent, further starving our government so the Republicans can steal all the money you've ever paid into Social Security or Medicare to give away as tax cuts for Paris Hilton and corporate jets.

Here is an interesting site that discusses Archbishop Dolan's letter, in reply to Paul Ryan, and some discussion on this topic. What do you think?
I recently read (although the site escapes me at present) that Ryan's budget would take 50 years before government debt would be paid.... I will check on that site again.

A deficit reduces government services and increases taxes to pay interest on loans.
A surplus generates income which help pay for services and reduce taxes and eliminate loans.
Rich lenders like banks and foreign countries like China love what is going on now at the expense of government workers, taxpayers, veterans, retirees etc.
All the deficit has done is to make a case for Communism. You need to kill the deficit now.

I like Rep. Ryan's ideas about the budget. There is good commentary on the budget and Catholic social teaching by Deacon Dan Gannon on http://www.catholicurrent.com/#/.

I have worked my butt off all my life to get where I am and now the government wants to take from the worker and give my money to someone who sits on their butt all day and does nothing. I don't mind helping the helpless, i do mind giving to the lazy. I also believe it is unconstitutional to take from one person for the purpose of giving to another.

surplus is what we need and want. Only a surplus can reduce or eliminate the need to use taxes and loans to pay for government services an debt.
Kill the deficit and kill it now!

According to "National Debt by U.S. Presidential Terms" on Wikipedia, the largest increases in national debt occurred during republican administrations. As a percent of GDP Reagan's increase was 11.3% & 9.3%; G.H.W. Bush was 13%; G.W. Bush was 7.1% & 20.7%. During President Obama's first term it was 9%, which was due to the "bail out" of banks & Wall Street to save the U.S. from the largest financial disaster in history. All Democratic administrations actually decreased the national debt. So much for the "tax & spend" and "job killing"policies of Democrats. For decades Republicans have sworn by the free market philosphy, but even Alan Greenspan was man enough to admit he was wrong. Boehner & McConnell need to get a clue.

I have been a Republican all my life, but now I have to give it up. You really should step down. Your party will not compromise with Obama. Even though I was against him, now he makes sense to me. Why in the world would the party that I have supported all my life (and I am 73) not want to tax the rich and the oil companies? The lowly laborer pays taxes why not them. They have not created jobs in the past. It seems as though the republicans are in their pockets. I live alone on Social Security and Medicare. Do you think you could live on what I have??? STEP DOWN AND LET'S GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
