Talibans are machos, that despise every women. So allies should have send only female soldiers, female officers, female generals to Afghanistan, and they would have formed a new female only army of Afghan women. No one more Taliban would be alive now! Afghan mens are machos, thinking like talibans. Now it's too late to form a female only Afghan army.

Shocked, but not too surprised, that Obama did not even mention Gen Petraeus' name last night. This was the guy who pulled Obama's fat from the fire in both Iraq and Afghanistan -- and not a word.

Makes one wonder if 'The One' is fearful of Gen Petraeus -- so much so that he placed him in the CIA where Petraeus would not run against him -- either in a primary, or as a republican or independent.

At best, Obama's omitting his senior field commander was rude and classless. At worst, a flagrant attempt to shine the spotlight on OBAMA -- AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!

My step-son served several tours in Iraq. As soon as he got out of the military a private company hired him and all his buddies back at ten times his pay - to do the exact same job.

They say that's why there isn't as big a military presence in Iraq and why we aren't saving any money from the drawdown: we're still there, only not in uniform.

Even without Dick Cheney, Xe (former Blackwater) and Halliburton are still ruling the world.
