Romney's only claim to fame is being a moderate governor, but he has reversed himself on all the major issues of his governorship. Rudy is right RomneyCare is ObamaCare, or at least the inspiration and test case for it. Romney keeps trying to defend his universal healthcare program in Massachusetts while constantly attacking the president for trying to do the same thing. Its not working, Romney is not a good liar. Maybe that's why he's not convincing conservatives.
Maybe Romney thinks ObamaCare doesn't go far enough, that we should have a single-payer universal healthcare, sort of like Medicare for all. Well alright, then Romney might have a real chance to become president.

Romney actually is the solution. I read a good viewpoint about this on www.whitehousevoice.com

What do say about a politician who will say and do anything in the hope of winning voters? A slicker.

The Romney Flip-flop label is incorrect. He has flipped (more correctly moved conservative) on a few issues. He has flopped on no issues.
abortion-against, no change; stem cell-against, change; gay rights-for, no change; gay marriage-against, no change; health care-state issue, no change; pro business-for, no change; pro-Israel-for, no change; reform Washington-for, no change; balanced budget-for, no change; fair trade-for, no change.
This flip-flop label was given to Romney in 2006/7 by the DNC and has been adopted by Republicans who haven't done their research.
Romney is the person to solve the economy and return America to prosperity. He is the most qualified candidate in a half century and he has my support.

Beautiful!!!
I could not have said it better.
Kudos to you my friend!!
I have often said, the real problem is we have a society full of stupid people who will always vote for the freebies, not realizing the Gov't HAS NO MONEY!! It's OUR money! and I also am very tired of supporting the free loaders.

who cares Obama has presided over 10% unemployment. That alone is justification for throwing him out of office.

I was willing to take Romney seriously despite the health care problem until last week when he came out in favor of ethenol subisties. Fool me once...

The Heritage Foundation is quoted in this article about Romney flip-flopping and they are the ones backstepping the issue on health care when they helped develop the Mass. health plan. Let us consider the arguement of so many shallow conservative thinkers here on Romney is that of the individual mandate. I don't like mandates but I also don't like free riders either. My taxpayer dollars paying for free health care doesn't jive with me. As far as I'm concerned, my liberties are already taken away from me when losers get a free ride on my taxpayer dollars...so welcome the mandate for me please. Its sad but mandates wouldn't be required if we had a responsible and honest people in our society that weren't looking for free rides and gov't bailouts...but unfortunately, we don't. The fact that mandates are needed only reflects the immoral and lawless state of the people of our nation in not taking personal responsibility. Sorry, but any logical thinker will come to the same conclusions. Romney was correct in the matter and shouldn't back down from it, even when every other spineless conservative has at this point.

I think trying to peg Romney as a flip-flopper is very shallow way to conceive of the man. Look at his resume all multiple pages of it and ask yourself, "does this guy qualify to be president? Does he have the experience, acumen, right policies, and managerial expertise to help navigate this country back to safe economic shores?"
I think if we start looking at him on this level we might see more deeply into him as a well qualified potential candidate instead of the usual shallow political poppycock nonsense of labeling him as a flip-flopper.
