Obama's Secret Weapon for 2012: The Economy

When this president took office the country had already lost $10 Trillion worth of wealth. The average American family had lost $100,000. We were losing 700,000 jobs a month. Nothing nothing nothing he or anyone did would fill this giant hole in our economy. The bold stimulus package that quickly put money back into peoples hands, gave out billions in small business loans, funded construction projects and billions to prevent the states from collapsing & laying off more people did stim the tide. The stimulus & saving the auto industry especially at a time when we could not afford to add millions more to the unemployment rolls stopped the free fall but they are a drop in the bucket compared to the giant hole they were attempting to fill. Our economy had been driven by construction and consumer spending based on home-equity loans and cash off of refi's. That is gone gone gone and is not coming back. We over built 2 millions homes per year when we only needed 1.5 mil for years. Furthermore lower housing prices will in the long run be a good thing. But the recovery will be long and slow and nothing nothing nothing anyone anyone can do about it. Blaming it on this president is both misinformed & dishonest. Any graph you look at will verify my statements that his policies have done a good job of growing us but we are starting from the bottom of a deep deep deep hole.

why does congress keep picking on those of us who have paid our dues in this

country ,working to support our families and paying our taxes. and ,when will congress start paying their dues like

paying into medicare and social security ?? why doesnt congress raise the retirement age this will reduce the deficit quite a bit , but of course, congress will find a way to steal it??

what about all of the monies that have been lost into countries that dont

support us in the united nations and certainly not used to educate only used

to build the military and line the pockets of dictators.

where is the 20 billion coming from that we are giving to egypt and tunisia?

why isnt that money being used in our country.

I hope the american people wake up and vote this president out of office

all he does is fly around the world and spend more of our money??

enough is enough

No, at least not with Obama in the White House.. He has managed to sow uncertainty into the general economy, nobody is hiring, nobody is expanding. Everyone is standing pat until some see real leadership emerges in Washington... and thats just not going to happen with Obama, he is not a leader, and anyone paying attention to whats going in the last 2 1/2 years in this country knows it.

For my countries sake, I hope to god he isn't re-elected, as the depression will be expanded for another 4 years with this idiot in office.

News paper of the time mentions birth and this paper was in Hawaii not Africa.

That needs to high lighted.

Barry took every single exemption he could possibly find on his income tax bill. He made 1.8 million and paid as little as possible while demonizing people who make about a seventh of that for not paying enough! Think about that! All these people on the left who talk taxes are liars and hypocrites! Nobody is stopping anybody from paying more yet all of these lefties pay as little as possible, Barry has tax cheats in his own cabinet for crying out loud!

Income tax federal state and city

Property tax

Sales tax

Gas tax

Payroll tax

WHEN IS ENOUGH ENOUGH????

Can you imagine where we would be if we had voted in another hoover. The wing-nuts are doing all they can to destroy the economy and the US along with it. To them its politics first and the country second.

The economy is tanking and inflation and unemployment continue to rise. Obama is incompetent and deserves to retire in 2012!

His reckless deficit spending is outrageous!

Time to impeach Obama!

Obama thinks there is such a severe labor shortage that we need hundreds of millions more immigrants and illegal aliens.

So let's imagine that a year from now Obama is up in the polls and it looks like he'll win a second term. The mainstream media continues to sing his praises to the high heavens. The Republicans run another stiff like Dole or McCain. The Dems think they're flying high, right? Wrong! The Dear Leader has maybe the shortest coat tails of any president that ever lived - even shorter than Nixon's. The problem is, the Dear Leader has cultivated a cult of personality. Everything is all about him. The sun shines out of his neither regions. Whenever possible the White House photographers give him that "halo effect". They photograph him from a low angle to make him appear exalted. The most common words in a speech by the Dear Leader are "me", "my", "I", "mine", and so forth. The White House steno pool works from a list of officially approved questions and if they deviate from that list, they are disciplined and outright banned. The problems for the Dems is, this doesn't get other politicians elected. In fact, Nancy lost her job because of the Dear Leader's cult of personality and Reid has been kicked to the curb. How many Democrat Senator's have decided not to run for another term in '12? Do you think the Dems running for their seats are gonna want the Dear Leader campaigning for them? No way, Ho-say. Sure, the Dear Leader might get another term, but the Dems lose the Senate and the House for a very long time. That's a pretty high price to pay when you set a mere mortal on a pedestal and worship him like a god. The Dear Leader will get to keep golfing and flying around on Da Big Plane, but without the House and the Senate, there's not much he can do.
