one last thing, you say the SEAL teams that went into Grenada and Panama didn't do do well, actually no one did so well. In Grenada, Army rangers crashed three helicopters, a few Delta force guys and Army rangers crashed in the jungle prior to that resulting in dozens of wounded soldiers, and every unit on the ground was given out of date maps. In Panama, Delta was stranded in the middle of the city unable to move waiting for rescue after they crashed remember. Also need I remind you of SF's other failures, for example Delta's first mission Operation Eagle Claw, a the failed rescue attempt. Once again get your facts straight.

oh my you sound jealous, anyways everything you are saying is irrelevant. it doesn't matter what SF did in the past because again that was yesterday and today is today. The only reason why SF did all those black operations you speak of is because the commander of JSOC has always been from the army duh....thus for an operation they would send in their own boys from the army (Delta) to get all the credit, But this time the JSOC commander is a Navy SEAL so obviously he chose to send in his boys (SEAL Team Six), that is the way its always been with JSOC. the best way to say it is first come, first serve. If delta would've taken out obl they would have got all the credit. Another thing is everything you said about SF, they always have been getting the credit for black operations like everything you said, so don't be mad because this time Navy SEALs got credit for a black operation, because SF have always been getting the top secret exclusive missions, and for decades the SEALs have been ignored when it came to black ops, you know what I'm talking about. Delta has always been the go to guys for this kind of thing, but this time it was the SEALs time to shine, unfortunately for Sf (who have been getting the big piece of the cake). Besides SF was chosen to take out obl at tora bora 10 years ago, but they were unlucky, so don't say SF don't get any credit, because they have an impressive history when it comes to black ops. This is the first of many to come for the SEALs who have been ignored for decades by Army JSOC commanders. So get your facts straight.

From reading Richard Marcinko's books, one wonders how they can function with all the alcohol.

This whole SEAL mania is becoming nauseating!! Yes they are great at what they do but are not the only SOF unit doing things.Yes it was SEAL team 6 that UBL yada yada yada!! Just look at what the Army's special forces have done..They were the first SOF unit to go into Afghanistan and Iraq.Infact they pretty much ran the show the first 90 days of OEF and toppled the Taliban in that time period. Since 911 army SF have ran/conducted the vast majority of the SOF missions!! Going back to the 80s they took down the FMLN guerillas in El Salvador, were the main SOF in Panama in 89,were the first in Desert storm, ran plan Colombia in the 90s and on etc etc etc..Where as the SEAL teams that went into grenada and Panama didnt do so well...The media needs to do some investigative research on this topic and get the facts!! Yes the SEALs are great at what they do but not the best!! no such thing as that in the SOF community..
