In in a televised speech tonight, President Obama will address his administration's Libyan policy and why he thinks it is important to Americans' national interest that the United States intervene in Libya. Over the weekend, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told CBS's Face the Nation that the intervention is Libya is already producing results. "We have a lot of diplomats and military leaders in Libya who are flipping, changing sides, defecting, because they see the handwriting on the wall," Clinton said. But Republican Sen. John McCain told Fox News Sunday that Obama's policy is still unclear. "This policy has been characterized by confusion, indecision, and delay," said McCain. "On one hand they say it's humanitarian, on the other hand they say that Qadhafi must go." Still, Obama has stressed that the U.S. military intervention in Libya is temporary. CBS reports that the NATO takeover of the Libyan no-fly zone should be complete by Wednesday. [See photos of the unrest in Libya.]
