How to Make Cities More Livable

I would guess that Michael has never been to Houston by the typical out-of-state idea that Austin "would figure much better." While Austin is a great city for many reasons, it also has many ways where it is inferior to Houston. The traffic on I-35 is much, much worse than any freeway in Houston, the cost of living is higher, the job market is tougher, and it does not have the travel and business infrastructure that is present in Houston. Houston is spread out and is a poster child for urban sprawl, but before folks decide to bash it, try doing a little more homework.

How does Houston figure as a liveable city? Like most cities in Texas, it's incredibly spread out and as a result, traffic/commute times are awful. As far as Texas goes, Austin would figure much better. Yet people commuting to Round Rock might disagree.

They are saying after numerous hurricanes hit the area. I can see how that can be a bit confusing though.
