Fundamental disposition:
If the president has only recently come to the realization his efforts will fail without cooperation from both parties in the congress, that scares me.
Even now with the number of seats tilting to the Republicans, they have to compromise on things or it will be another two years of the president trying to put good policy on the books and hitting brick walls, and vice versa for congress getting vetoed.
