The T-Party are just rabble rousers and just as selfish as the Republicans in Congress ,the blue dogs and the Fox crew .

To the replyer to Terry! Obama was elected by a majority of voters. Sen Obama prior to his election spent months telling the prospective voters what his plans were if elected. He said that he wanted health care reformed as well as wanting to get us off of addiction to foreign oil and to invest in alternate energy. He eplained his views on a good many things and he has proceeded to try to get anumber of his plans enacted. Those peole that voted for him expected that to happen . Bush on the other hand was not elected by a majority of the electorate In the view of some it was illegal and a far right Supreme Court proclaimed him a victor.Gore who was his opponent accepted that defeat with dignity. The public accepted the verdict mostly peacefully. There coud have been a non acceptance. There for we have the many problem in the economy, an expensive not called for 8 year war in Iraq plus the war in Aghanistan that was neglected under Bush.,among other things neglected like infrastructure and other necessary social programs. Obama was elected as I said by a majority. His policies were what we wanted, certainly not the ideolopgy of the Republican party and certainlynot the the constant ravings of idiots and a constant cacaphony of NO NO NO just because the Party that lost couldn't stant to have lost to someone they considered to be an outsider etc. I'm sick of their un -American attitude and words. They are the most mean spirited of any group ever to be in politics in my 83 years.

If you can't convince a handful of members of the other party to vote for your legislation you are either a poor politician/negotiator or have poor legislation.

If an argument for returning to the Clinton era rates on the top bracket is that we had a great economy, then shouldn't letting all the rate cuts lapse do the same thing?

Does anyone feel better if we call the Bush deficit spending "stimulus"?

It is about time that you educated yourself on the realities of politics. In any democracy, the majority governs with the consent and input of the minority. This is not a dictatorship wherein the ruler RULES. All others have a say, the input, and simply following the leaders rules are what got us into trouble back during the Bush administration. Don't you ever learn? Don't any of us ever learn?

Hey Terry of NY yes it's true that the dems have a majority in both houses so why are they blaming the repubs for blocking everything? And yes the repubs are being the party of no but the dems are the party of we want no input from you unless they need the votes. I have been a registered dem since 1971 but this current crop of left wing liberal dems that have hijacked the party turn my stomach. I wouldn't vote for any of them for dog catcher much less rep or senator.

I won't extend these tax cuts unless and until every male member of the house allows me to sodomize him right here on the floor! (yup, thats what I heard him say)

Hey smart guy: The Republicans are POWERLESS to stop ANY legislation. They are the MINORITY. The Democrat contolled congress doesn't need Republican votes to pass anything. It's your own Democrat Representatives that aren't giving up the votes.

TomW of WA 1:09PM September 28, 2010

Don't re-elect any of these fools-republican or democrat-it is shocking that with all this time they couldn't resolve the estate tax issue-any one else who failed to act on such an important issue would have been fired long ago

Terry of NY 7:20PM September 27, 2010

People seem not to get the fact that the Dems and the "Moderate Wing of the GOP" are Facist. Who is "the rich"? The small business owner trying to grow thier business, and creates jobs? The only Rich people Obama & Co isn't going after is Himself, George Soros, the Entire Democratic party, Wallstreet, Union Bosses etc.

McCain buys into the same garbage, and that Enviromental Communism aka The Green Movement...

Why didn't they invite King Minus to congress? He could save Obama! No they invite a half-tate comic like Colbert. He's seen better days... Now's just a warshed up has-been.

People have more faith in the Tea Party, than the GOP or the Democrates. So when people say negtive things about the GOP. Whats left to say? Both parties are Corrupt... What a shocker?...
