GOP lawmakers planned to go public with their plan at a hardware store in a Virginia suburb of Washington, choosing a location outside the nation's capital that's in keeping with the plan's grass-roots emphasis.

Pence appeared on CBS's "The Early Show," and Ryan was interviewed on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Why aren't they insisting that every piece of pork attached to the bill be identified by each owner?

Why aren't we proposing a line item veto?

This is pure BS hype with no substance whatsoever!

What government gives one year, they can take away the next year. The best insurance against adversity is your personal knowledge base, every growing skill set, and common sense.

The government provides none of those critical capabilities. When it attempts to be a parent to us all, it wastes funds at an incredible rate and delays the inevitable correction necessary to really fix any problem.

The federal government ought to provide for the common defense - and assist regions and states with infrastructure planning - and some (just some) funding for infrastructure. Otherwise, get out of our way!
