Just because President Obama prays doesn't mean that he is Christian. Muslims and most other religions pray to a higher power as well....

A President who has said he will not fight terroism or Jihad because it is a Holy War to Muslims even though 9/11 is what THEY call Jihad, is not a Muslim?
You should get your head out of the sand and stop living in denial. He is indeed a Muslim and what you are implying is very UNwise.

So, Kenneth T. Walsh, Obama, a person that ridicules and mocks the Bible and the Words of Jesus in a public speech and praises the "Holy Qu'ran" at every opportunity, is a Christian??? I have been a Christian for over 40 years and never seen that, never once, and you have not either.
A president who slights his Christian allies and literally bows to Muslim leaders is not a Muslim or at least at heart?

He has been caught up in so many lies now it's crazy. 3 times he has told us the religion of his mother and every time it changes. now she was christian and he didn't practice muslim for 2 hours a week he just went and imitated the older people doing the prayers! Yeah right!

The only form of a christian religion he knows if from a racist minister. That he attended for how many years. And why didnt he take his christian wife with him when he went to see his muslim friends in the middel east. BECAUSE HE IS STILL A MUSLIM. I really dont care what religion he is but i dont like people that lie.

To say that this man is not a Muslim is crap. He is, and he will be exposed for what he is in the near future. He is a traitror, a Muslim, and a worthless POS.

These polls are misleading at best it all depends on how a question was asked.
Has he ever worshiped with muslims it would be hard for anyone to say no. Having went to a muslim school when he was younger in Kenya. Does that make him Muslim no. But it does show a side of which he prefers not to discuss.
I dont believe the poll numbers I think it is how the question was asked by a very liberal pollster. Its a way of trying to show the other side as deluded and ignorant of which I believe left trys to potray the right as. Thiers enough ignorence in both sides. Besides who cares ever notice since his popularity went down all of a sudden the country is racist what they didnt know he was black before the election was over. How ignorant does that show the left to be he said hope and change not more of the same he has been the most arrogant pesident on record. If its good it was him and his administration. If it was bad it was bushes fault sounds like grade school.
He needs to stop blaming and start making good policy decisions.

I'm sure that the proponents of so-called "black liberation theology" see the continuing fight for African American equality as part of being a good Christian. What I mean to say that that is entirely tangential to whether or not they ARE Christians, as they are. I'm a Baptist, I don't believe in Christening babies nor that Christening is required for salvation, but I'm certainly not going to say that Presbyterians aren't Christians because they believe Christening babies is a requirement of being a good Christian. So saying that the political beliefs of this pastor makes him not a Christian, or Obama not a Christian, makes no sense.

While what you term "black liberation theology" is probably the political outlook of the church/pastor, what makes a Christian a Christian is the worship of Christ, not whether or not you work to reduce discrimination against African Americans, which is entirely tangential to religion.
"Common sense; If it walks like a muslim, talks like a muslim, acts like a muslim and has a name like muslim, then its a muslim."
I probably shouldn't bother arguing against such an obviously stereotypical and prejudiced statement (unsound, as well), but here goes:
I'm not sure how Muslims "walk and talk" (since they come from a varied range of different races, cultures, economic statuses, etc.), since I find it difficult to quantify how Muslims do that. Names are also misleading--many Christians have what are originally Jewish names (or Greek translations thereof). To say that they are therefore Jewish because they have Jewish names makes little sense, as would saying someone is Muslim because they have a "Muslim name" (I'm assuming you mean names based in Arabic. There are Muslims who do not have Arab names, though converts used to be called in a new Arabic name when becoming Muslims, this is not strictly true any more). Obama was named after his father, who was apparently a lapsed Muslim (of African descent). Obama did not change his name himself in his life time, like Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali, for example. Obama's father was probably given his name by HIS father, as far as that goes. Obama had no control over what name he has.
I also find it difficult to quantify how Obama "acts like a Muslim". As far as I can tell he does not pray at the various times Muslims are required to pray throughout the day, nor does he celebrate Muslim holidays. He worships Christ as God, as opposed to merely a prophet. He doesn't believe in the teachings of Muhammad. He does not proselytize his religion like many Muslims (and Christians) do.
At worst, you have in Obama a secular Christian, basically devoid of any real religious fervor at all, like thousands of other people in the U.S. I would hope that people would quit believing nonsense like that he is a Muslim, because if he is he is an incredibly poor one, worshiping Christ as God like he does and practicing basically nothing that Muslims practice.
