Sarah Palin is the reason I voted for your father. While she lacked some political savvy and foriegn policy experience. She means what she says and does what she says. Thats a refreshing commodity in US politics. McCain lost for the same reason he lost the primary to Bush. He has fallen prey to Group Speak and chasing polls rather than chasing whats right and speaking his mind. Having said that I still consider him an American Hero albeit one whom has become too politically correct and is not willing to tell it like it is!

Much like Dole, he never had a shot.

Meagan should not be holding back and tell us what she really feels. The McCain women are the only honest ones in the whole bunch and considering McCain's wife is the breadwinner in that family so her husband can daubble in political foxtrots, let them spill their guts.
McCain's judgment was severely in doubt to pick such an unknown commodity to be 2nd in charge.
Since we have found McCain to be the flip-floppin' opportunist who will say anything to get elected - his primary this year in AZ proves McCain to be so shallow to lose his core principles, throwing his maverick character under the bus. His critics were right about McCain not having the character, judgment or temperament to be president.
It goes without saying Meagan McCain will be criticized for telling the truth, even when she had tamped down criticism of Palin. Meagan is holding back some ammo for her next book to jump on the bandwagon when Palin falls apart.

Sorry, Meghan, but Sarah Palin IS the reason your father lost my vote!

Sarah Palin is dynamic and dangerous. She seems to encourage shooting from the hip and acting without considering consequences. Her phone conversations with the "President of France" ala an on-air Quebec Radio Prank and dismal performance in a singular partial-term as governor of Alaska bespeak the kind of vision she has for the rest of the nation. She ran away from her single term as governor of the most remote and laid-back state the union has and quickly sought to heighten her stature on the national scene. Can anyone take her seriously for the national stage? Why hasn't this woman gone away yet? Get her out of the media.
She is a good spokesperson for her special interests but has already demonstrated she lousy leader and doesn't think first before engaging those lips. She is nothing but trouble.

The country was ready for a change and to demonstrate the elimination of racial prejudice in America. Obama fit that mold, and McCain lost the election because of it. Sarah Palin couldn't offset the country's yearnings in that regard. What she offered, however, was courageous common-sense thinking that brought much appeal to the campaign. It also stirred new recognition about what really matters, thus laying a foundation for a better way of governing with less intervention and more true encouragement for entrepreneurship. In the long run this will turn out to be a tremendous and game-changing contribution for our country.
