Grow up Americans. The Healthcare and the Financial Reform bills are great steps in the right direction. Nothing is EVER perfect. Politics is the art of getting enough votes to accomplish something that needs accomplishing without alienating enough votes to squash it.

There is no way to get unamimous support of anything. Well, maybe (and just "maybe") a bill that requires the first letters of the name "United States of America" to be always capitalized. Even it that case, some YaHoO (or even a group of yAhOoS) will come up with some reason to argue against it.

I like that this has been a reoccurring item to feature the top bills in THOMAS.gov.

Why aren't you linking directly to the legislation in THOMAS.gov? That would be more helpful.

THOMAS.gov was also updated during the August recess. You can read more about the update: http://blogs.loc.gov/law/2010/08/thomas-the-revamp-during-the-recess/
