John McCain Fights for His Political Life in Arizona

Yea, yea, yea.....

McCain will probably emerge the victor in today's primary election and carry the Republican banner into the November election.....

What's it mean? Only that McCain, who denies he's a "maverick," a denial with which I agree ~~ he's no "maverick," he's a "stray!" He's wandered so far afield of Arizona's conservative values he'll never be able to return..... But I digress.....

What's McCain's probable reelection mean? The man's near-hysteria, spending millions of dollars in negative campaigning against JD Hayworth.....

I'm an Arizonan ~~ I'm an Independent. Arizona laws allow Independents to vote in primary elections, so today I'll go to the polls, request a Republican ballot and vote for JD Hayworth..... Maybe, just maybe, if enough like-minded Independents do the same, McCain will be returned to the seat he's earned and deserves ~~ the rocking chair on his own front porch!

Let's vote ~~ then let's count 'em.....

The anti-party national narrative for this election is just not holding up. If anything, real influence is coming, as usual, from special interests on both sides. - http://disenchantedjourno.blogspot.com/2010/08/thought-of-day-never-count-your.html
