“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more Perfect Union, establish Justice, insure Domestic Tranquility, provide for the Common Defense, promote the General Welfare, and Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,”…We support Immigration Reform.
We deserve a coherent answer to our concerns about immigration from our Government and the new border security bill is a great start still we need immigration reform to pay for the $600 million dollars with the fines and previous tax liability payments each Legalized immigrant will pay to us, if immigration overhaul is done we can finance the high tech border security systems like advanced surveillance cameras and unmanned drones to aid our border patrol without tax increases for current U.S citizens aiming fiscal responsibility because the all the border security systems will be financed by the current undocumented immigrants if they are legalized.
Most importantly the current immigration reform proposal will promote Social Security and Medicare funding without rising taxes to current citizens by imposing a waiting period of 8 years for the legalized immigrants to be able to naturalize as part of their penalty. Social Security and Medicare funding for current citizens can be achieved with the new proposal for immigration reform because in the meanwhile legalized immigrants won’t access benefits after we do the tax contributions the Legalized immigrants will pay to us during 8 years will create a surplus that will warranty an outgoing retirement benefits collection by current citizens without increasing our taxes today.

so why are you guys constantly fighting? where did the original inhabitants of America originate from? were they not all immigrants? why will a new generation of these people be so greedy and selfish to deny the same freedoms that their great great great grand parents got to anyone else.
like Jesus said if you have not sin before be the first to throw the stone...
if you have no immigrant blood in you be the first to castigate anybody who comes to America. did the original immigrants get Visa before coming from the UK and the other countries...did the Red Indians give them visas.
Greedy bastards

This seems to be another politics as usual ploy for late in the (re)election cycle. The only reasonable policy to halt illegal immigration is to dry up the available jobs by promptly arresting, jailing of the individuals (not fine the companies) who hire illegals. When sufficient have been done, the attraction will be gone. The same can be said of the illegal drug importations. Implement programs to dry up the market in the USA and the illegal importations will stop. All other "war on drugs" and boondoggle fences and troop deployments have proven worthless for decades, and I believe the politicians know it, just lack the backbone to implement permanent solutions. Oh, and a side benefit to arresting and jailing the employers of illegals will be increased income from legitimate taxes, since these employers usually keep these hires "off the books" and avoid taxes.

This special-session was just a political game move aimed at helping the Liberals dismal re-election prospects. This $600 million was requested way back, again and again in Senate, and only a few of the National Guard troops Obama promised June 1st have been sent. Now the $600 million funding won’t even be released for a year, and the more law enforcement (this funding), should have been in use with the arrival of the National Guard. This is not such a great strategic direction coming from our commander in chief or his administration.
Most states, counties, and local law enforcement could actually grow, and save money by employing new veterans for five years. We enforce immigration laws and save money while employing unemployed veterans. Two other presidents already enforced immigration laws to employ war vets. This would be the third time, and because it is for national security this third time will be the charm. Seems the old adage is still working just fine because President Obama’s best bet is to hire the vets.
The unemployment rate for veterans rose in July to 11.8 percent for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. Hire some of them to work with their local law serving the people of their own hometowns and surrounding communities. These veterans already have government run VA health hell-care for five years running, and could save struggling towns short on law enforcement to actually save local tax monies (feds employ vets), while also saving local tax funds used toward the good healthcare insurance of local law enforcement. We get more state and local law enforcement, save tax money, and create some needed jobs during this recession. Five fast years and we will be out of this recession and our borders will be secure to boot!
