Abstract
The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.

Let's clarify a couple of things about your beloved Bible (Torah, Quran, Buddhist Sutras, or the Hindu Vedas for the matter); because while it does contain very meaningful social lessons that have built the current foundations of our society about kindness, tolerance, and empathy, people have ignorantly chosen to interpret something that simply isn't there.
1) Sodom and Gomorrah is part of the Old Testament and has been twice translated from Hebrew scripture. Sodom and Gomorrah were two cities that were still following old Pagan superstitions and rituals. Secondly, there is no word in Hebrew for "sexual intercourse," instead they use the phrase "to know," as in to talk to, to interrogate, etc. The recent translation of the Old Testament that's recognized by the Catholic Church is called the Original Revised version and interpreted "to know" as to "have sex with."
Using a conservative Originalist interpretation of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, one would normally conclude the "to know" phrase as maybe asking questions to new strangers in town. Either way, the argument is moot because Lot's actions of offering his own two virgin daughters up for a gang-rape is hardly deemed moral in today's world. The term "sodomy" then, is a misnomer coming from the very loosely translated text.
While Leviticus is more straightforward about homosexuality, at the same time, it condones polygyny, slavery, and chauvinism, and condemns touching pigskins (ever play with a real football?), and working on sundays (finally one I agree with!), and how to properly interpret bird entrails.
The point is, while religion has by and large provided society a skeletal structure of moral values such as kindness, forgiveness, tolerance, empathy, and compassion, many of its followers have chosen to ignore those teachings and instead use irrelevant passages of the Bible to fit their personal sheltered political views.

There is a compelling reason homosexual relations were on the law books for so long as being a crime. Unnatural sex acts spread communicable diseases, both in the body and mind. It is no different than a human having sex with an animal, which is also repugnant & prohibited in the Bible -- for a good reason -- God knows our makeup and that such acts will result in harm for both species, human & animal.
When homosexuals attempt to assert some unfounded 'rights' they also spread social unrest as this case demonstrates. The gay activists have infiltrated our judicial system and are attempting to turn common sense & laws upside down. It is just as the Bible describes: They are inflamed with their lust, and past all moral sense.
If our society is to flourish, we must prohibit these unnatural sex relations, and make them punishable offenses once again. Why do you think that the whole earth is experiencing such devastating 'natural' disasters. Why do you think the muslims want to destroy our nation? Read your history -- whenever a nation became out of sync with God's laws, he used muslims to destroy those nations, to put an end to the wickedness that would lead to destruction of God's creations.
God is giving us a wake-up call, if we will stop to listen -- he will not be silent in his justice forever. If we do not stop this madness, God's judgment for these behaviors will come and destroy our nation!!! This will not be any action by a man, but BY GOD.
So it doesn't matter what laws are passed allowing Gay 'rights.'
Wake UP people!!! God does not wish for anyone to be destroyed, but for everyone to repent -- he is allowing time to repent and to turn away from wickedness. Pray for his help and guidance to do so.
Get off the 'sex drug.' Contrary to what we are being told by so-called experts -- we DO have the ability to exercise self-control. What your mind dwells upon is what you will act on. Get off all drugs period, that mask your ability to think clearly. This is the key to self-control and survival.

Anyone remember Sodom and Gommarrah in the Bible? Well, that's how God feels about homosexual's. The fires will be burning white hot!
