Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was right for a change: anybody voting Republican in Nevada ought to have his/her head examined. Well, he diid show a little bit of courage by delaying the vacation of Senators, this time just to fix the border problem. The Senate needs to address comprehensive immigration reform which includes the border problem. Smugglers need to be dealt with as harshly as possible and the connection between guns and drugs need to be dealt with even though most polititicians are afraid of the NRA. Trying to blame tyhe problem on the 14th Amemdment is a red herrfing.

Ct. voters prove their ignorance. If it's not the career politician, it's a bought election. Of, By and For the people.... yeah right!
Everyone likes to blame washington ( rightfully so ) but no one can spare a few minutes to actually research the candidates. We actually have this handy little tool called the internet that gives the people a real chance to look beyond what the media is shoving down our throats. If you EVER want to change washington then you're going to HAVE to PAY ATTENTION and elect REAL leaders.
Schiff was a rare chance at a real candidate. But since he doesn't have $20 million to buy a seat, he actually tried to campaign on character. Shoulda known better than to try that in this country.
Here's an idea; If you don't know the candidates or the issues...
DON'T VOTE !!!!!
Maybe the people paying attention will select a quality rep for you.
BTW, don't mean to pick on CT. We have this problem everywhere.
Well once Linda buys the seat from the dems, I guess we will still have hope and change.

Why are we all surprised? Look at the GOP stars as of late; first George Bush and his "Mission Accomplished". Then Sarah Palin keeping an eye on Russia for us from Alaska, using hand-notes as needed. Now this. Who knows? next GOP darling could be britney spears
