You must be kidding. She is NOT entitled to a vacation, it should not be a priveldge of this position. If you tink she paid for it out of her own pocket you are equally blind. Her pockets are lined by the American taxpayers dollar.
It should be better thought out, and more consideration put forth to purvey herself as an example of integrity. Unreal....keep spending our money, it is just this kind of Porkbelly spending that our politicians continue to get away with that is sending our economy into a downward spiral. Accountability needs to start somewhere. This is NOT an opportunity that should be 'taken advantage' of...really?

Since the economy is so bad,unemployment high,and all the other problems our country is experiencing,it seems natural for people to comment and complain about our First Lady's trip. Did we really want her to stay home and pitch a tent on the South Lawn, clean closets etc. as many do? It really does not seem to matter where she goes. She went on her dime, of course the secret service were there. Security would follow wherever she went. People are just angry at the perception of "too much." President's families should not have to worry about where to vacation, they are not the elected official. Mrs. Obama should be able to travel where she wants! Her children should be able to take advantage of this opportunity. Vacations should not be photo ops for the press.
