I just read the article:

http://www.dailygoat.com/?p=2222

Illegals complaining that all the bumper to bumper traffic and commercialization of Arizona was just to much for them.

Whatever the reason adios amigos! Good riddance!

Thank you for going back to your deadly drug wars and chicken ranch in Mexico. I'm sure you will find your paradise there.

Mexicans are fleeing Arizona, but it might not be for the reasons that you think.

Read this article to learn what they say are the real reasons they are leaving.

FUNNY

Obama's poll numbers of course did not go down on immigration when he wasn't doing anything on immigration.

Besides, Obama isn't running in 2010.

The Democrats will get punished for their lack of support of immigration laws.

Here's a concept : Abolish all political parties , no more republicans, no more Democrats.

Every candidate runs as an independent on his or her own merit.

I liken the parties to 2 prison gangs, running the prison.

Eliminate lobbying.

Pay each Congress person $1,000,000 a year salary.

Perhaps we could attract bright people who could represent their constituents.

I am interested to see where Mallie Kim ( author of above article) got her facts. I believe this issue will bury the Democrats in November.

Our local newspaper used the words "relatively small share of Hispanics are illegal" . and printed the following statistics.

19% (1 of 5) of all Hispanics residing in the USA are undocumented

In Arizona , 23%-26% (1 of 4) are undocumented.

Most of the press is so biased that they have lost all credibility.

see for yourself

Immigration reform doesn't need to be debated in the hallowed halls of Congress to have an impact on the elections. Very much like "gay marriage" in recent elections, state and local initiatives focusing on immigration (illegal or otherwise) and present on the ballot in various places will draw certain groups to the polls who might otherwise stay home. The Arizona law and its timing are part of a larger political strategy which we've seen before. There will be similar propositions on the ballot in several traditionally conservative locales specifically to motivate conservative voters to get out and vote conservatively. It has worked in the past, which is why they're doing it again.

If you ask my judgment on this, I think that while the state of Arizona just like other border states have a pressing problem, how we go about solving this problem will go a long way in determining how we build race relations in this country. The state of the economy has not made things any better. However, laws should not be broken no matter where one comes from. Unfortunately most of the illegal immigrants in Arizona are Mexicans and this Arizonan law created a situation where the issue of illegal immigration may once more degenerate to a race debate. This issue is not about racism, it is about legality. However States must understand that while Washington through its deliberate approach in Congress may be taking its time, States cannot take over the role of the Federal government. It would be setting a precedent that rather than resolve the problem, creates avenue for more chaos.

That should clear up some inconsistencies.

I think that this entire immigration ruling is stupid and I think it is not nessessary at all. People want to come to america to be free because this is free country. Is it not? I believe this is wrong and it is just a waste of taxes, time, and it may just be something we are doing because america is bored. No one want to go through with this. Sure, some people do but I sure don't. To me, and my friend Brittany, this situation seems like america is becoming a racist country again. Also, for the man that said 9/11 was cuse by imagrants, research next time because you are wrong. Basically, I believe what is going on should not be going on and I'm saying enough is enough before this goes too far. I my self am a child and I don't want this kind of negative influence in my life. This is completely unfair and I will keep writing and commenting until someone realizesthat we don't have to do this. I do realize I am a child and I might not understand sertain things but this is rediculous. We're all people, we should be treated equally. That goes for every living human being. Not just for americans. This happened once and I will not live to see it happen in my life time. I thought this country was supposed to be one of the best. Prove it. Don't let power from the mind control the passion in your heart. Stop trying to fight everyone. Stop trying to exclude others from america. These things get on my nerves. I want a war-free life, most people do. Don't start a war/conflict just because you can.
