Looking at the past history is a great tool to prevent unwanted future outcomes- risk management. Both parties party needs to communicate to the people the future growth and how we come together as a nation. The blaming session is over, they need to take ownership and if they know that they cannot do the job, please resign and give someone else an opportunity to lead this great nation to the 21st century.
The country needs an absolute leader and not a political party who likes to point finger. This political strategy is unwanted. Let's focus on subjects that are productive and job creation

I had hoped Bush would have vetoed more of the spending Congress had proposed during his administration, but on the whole the 8 years George W. Bush was President the economy performed very well and we had low unemployment. He was a strong leader and kept us safe. He understood economics and was (still is) an honoroable man.
The main stream media hated him becasue he had values and was a decent and honorable man. Many of the American people follow the main stream media and they swallowed the liberal line they spew forth hook line and sinker. The Main Stream media was in the tank for Obama and for some reason (I'm being generous) could not bring themselves to critisize a black man running for President. So much for equality. So now we're going to subject the entire country to an imcompetant man all in the name of racial fairness. Non-sense! This man needs to be voted out in 2012.

If Republicans are smart, they'll draft and sign a document that paraphrases
both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. These principles
made America great and will, if followed, do so again. An ad could start out by
saying that Obama's right, we don't have new ideas...our ideas are the same
ones that were successful for the first 103 years of America's life.
I am so glad that Chris Petty brought up the fact that Congress was hijacked
by the Democrats in 2006 and that it was then that the decline began. I wish
Republicans would remind voters of that fact everytime Republicans are blamed
for the economy. A simple ad with a timeline that asks the question: "Do we
want more of this?" would be ever so much more effective than falling into the
trap of attack ads.

Bush VS. Obama?
Although I strongly disagree with some of George W Bush's decisions, as I recall the USA remained strong and economically prosperous UNTIL the Democrats took Congress in 2006. That is when the deficits surged and the economy began to tumble.
To recap the above "story"...
"We need to go back to the exact agenda that is empowering the free enterprise system rather than diminishing it."
Somehow this is BAD???
Centralized Socialist Control is BAD!!!
The Obama/Pelosi/Reid Trilogy have done everything to ABSORB and OVERWHELM the "free enterprise" system and replace it with Centralized Federal Government!
All of this with ZERO results and a PRICETAG exceeding ALL PREVIOUS GOVERNMENTS combined!
Bush VS. Obama
No Contest!
Bush will be shown to be the "solid" President he was during 911, Katrina and Ike.Putting aside "agenda" to deal with REAL challenges of America.
Obama will be shown to be the MOST divisive and harmfull "President" in history and possibly the cause of America's downfall due to relentless pursuit of his personal "agenda" above all else.
WE can all judge in November.

The Obama camp is worried about the poor performance of the their ability to convince the ill-informed majority of their party that their plans are good for the country in the 'long run'!
So far all that they have done was to spend record amounts of money on programs that show no improvement in reducing the number of unemployed and reduction of our National Debt. All indicators suggest just the opposite! To blame past leadership for our current ills is irresponsible!
The onus of recovery will be placed in the hands of our grandchildren and their children for generations to come!
In his attempt to convince the people that his policies of socialist programs are best for the nation Obama is a dismal failure!
His appearance on inane TV programs is just another indication of his desperate measures to attract those who have no understanding of our problems. He figures that just by being on TV he will attract many votes. Sadly, this ploy may bear fruit in the fall. I hope not!
When foreign countries own a majority of our debt we lose our World leadership!
Our ability to compete on the World stage will is being hampered each new day of his presidency!
