This would be great legislation if the liberal unions and news media were exempt

I want to know what I am voting for! I have less trust in our government since learning about some truths: the rich wants to enslave society, the rich corps. feel that they should receive a break because they hire the people (lord and servant mentality), the rich have more to protect (the more they should pay for that protection in city, county, state, fed, military). In other words, the rich think equal to that of the tyrannical king and lords of England prior to independence in the states.
So, if Enron is behind something, I want to know! If the Mormon Church is behind destroying freedom, I want to know! If Israel is connected, I want to know! If religion is connected, I want to know! If the person for office is a Nazi, I want to know. I want to know!
Religions and many republicans has made many lies getting us into a few mishaps lately that has cost many lives to many freedoms. I want both of these entities out of my life. I have an education and I can think for myself, I am not a brainwashed religious moron nor a follower of the neoNazi republican party. I am for transparency in our government. I WANT TO KNOW!
I am studying law. I love our US constitution. My opinion is: It is unconstitutional not to disclose and promote truth. When something is kept secret, there is a probability of fraud associated with it. If it is above-board, why keep it secret?
But, I am sincerely with your gun rights agenda.
If I had not of seen deception by our government many times through my life, I would not care. But I have seen! J.F.K., Robert Kennedy, 200,000 Portuguese by Indonesian Forces, USS Liberty, Viet Nam, John Lennon, Wako, Ruby Ridge Massacre, Oklahoma Fed. Building, 9-11 , the five Israelis attempting to blow the Hudson river (who were in America to witness 9-11), Iraq, Afghanistan Pakistan, Iran and Americas connection with the Neocon Israel.
The reward in studying law is: learned of the methods in the search of truth.
But, to allow the rich to lie and deceive the public as puppets, I am not for!

This is another ploy for a grab at firearms by the anti-gun activists in Congress.

The first amendment and the DISCLOSE act both respect free speech. The first amendment and the DISCLOSE act also both allow us to demand that corporations say they're polluting elections to our faces while they're exercising that alleged free speech. There are 0 reasons this bill shouldn't have passed the senate, the founding fathers would be aghast.
Honestly you're telling me shouting "fire" in a crowded theater should be illegal, bribery of a public official should be illegal, but THIS bill violates free speech? What??

Typical of today's Dems to try to include Repubs ideas and Repubs rebel against their own ideas and for Repubs to say Dems push too fast, while the majority of people's well being is at stake, after years of erroding policies, that created this corporatocracy.
The corporatocracy does coerce employees to donate to a political party; they are responsible for massive criminal acts, fraud, exploitative profiteering, layoffs, out sourcing, off shoring, gambling away the economy, our health, education, retirerment, worker's/civil/humane rights, safety and environment, with global & generational ripple effects.
Corporations are not individual people and money is not free speech.
Non-for-profits do contribute to the job market, economy/tax base and people's well being.
Corporations have paid less and less % of taxes over the years, while their profits & CEO's benefits have risen and the majority experience losses.
All political donations should be disclosed.

Corporations and other organizations are owned by people, and people have the right to free speech. Pooling their money to buy campaign ads is their right. Case closed.

The progressives have already created very large NFP whose sole purpose is to push their own political agenda.. the Not for Profit exemption give the progressives a major advantage over FOR profit corporations. To me this is transparent SOCIALISM vs Capitalism. These Not For Profit Groups should not be exempted.. or rather the entire Bill should not have been passed.
Another point Not For Profits contribute nothing to the economy or the tax base.. where as Private Corporations do.. so which one has more impact on the everyday welfare of the Citizens? The private corporations by providing JOBS.
Citizens have a right to know what issues may affect their ability to find a JOB.
The arguments that Coporations are not a person and therefore do not have free speech rights, well falls flat since Not For Profit Organziation

For-profit corporations shouldn't be allowed to donate at all; they aren't people, so they have no free speech rights. Groups such as the Sierra Club and the Humane Society should, because political speech is one of the big reasons they exist.

The Republican's are in their hypocritical mode again by saying the bill is flawed. All bills are flawed in some way; otherwise they could not pass. Yes it would have been great to have no exemptions, but we live in the real world and we don't get perfect bills. Would Republican's have voted for it if the exemptions were taken out? You know the answer to that, so the charge of hypocrisy stands.
